Description

Before use, pour enough milk or soy milk to fully cover the bottom. Heat the milk over low temperature until it nearly reaches boiling, then let it cool. Clean and dry thoroughly. Alternatively, you can boil 1 liter of water with 150g of rice for 5 minutes over low heat. Do not heat an empty pot. Always add oil or water. Always start cooking at a low temperature. Do not place a heated pot on a cold surface or under cold water. Place it on a neutral surface, such as a wooden board or a textile towel.

The Emile Henry "Flame" line can be used in ovens, microwaves, and is suitable for all stovetops. When using it on an induction cooktop, a special plate is required. The lid design helps moisture circulate, ensuring that food retains sufficient moisture while cooking.

When heated, the pot expands, causing fine cracks in the glaze. This is not a defect but proof that the pot is resistant to high temperatures and has a long lifespan. This is a handmade product, so some irregularities may occur. These are not defects and do not affect functionality. All cookware is made in France by highly skilled artisans. Each product is stamped with the mark of the craftsman who made it.

Emile Henry uses only natural raw materials in production, such as clay, stone, plaster, mineral oxides, etc.

Do not use the product on a stove burner smaller than the pot’s base. The pot is heat-resistant up to 450°C. It is dishwasher safe. The pot is hand-glazed, so small air bubbles, variations in glaze thickness, or slight color differences may be visible. These are not defects and do not affect the product's properties.
