The Choc Extreme round fry pan made with non-stick cast aluminium features a long cast stainless steel handle. Whilst maintaining the tradition of the famous cast iron handles "à la française", de Buyer has updated the looks and improved the ergonomics. The handle makes the pan easy and comfortable to use. The even and controlled cooking process provided by the thick cast aluminium makes it particularly suitable for cooking delicate food, such as certain types of fish. The exceptional non-stick performance of the coating lets you cook with very little fat.
The best non-stick coating on the market.
The Choc Extrême coating is 100% PFOA- and PFOS-free. It’s also durable and wearresistant. The products in the range have thick bases, meaning they won’t deform. The handles are guaranteed to fit tightly, making them robust. The Choc Extrême frying pans, sauté pans, cooking pots, shallow casseroles and wok are ideal for healthy cooking. They are easy to use, work on any stovetop and can go in the oven. Unlike what you might think, the non-stick pan is a specialist... perfect for gently cooking fish, vegetables, legumes, grains, etc. without letting them colour. I’m also ideal for simmering stews, reheating ready-meal elements and thickening sauces without affecting taste, colour or flavor.
Not a generalist pan: if you want to sear, brown or grill, use a steel pan instead. The fry pan is suitable for any cook top, including induction.
Use and care instructions:
Before using your utensil for the first time, wash it in warm soapy water, rinse it thoroughly and carefully wipe it dry.

If using an induction stovetop, adjust the heating area to the diameter of the utensil’s heatdiffusing base.
When using in the oven:
- Don’t use the grill function

How users can extend their utensils’ lives:
